A community workshop to attend

Hey neighbor,

My name is Roxy. Tomorrow June 25th 2026 at 6 PM, I’ll be hosting an Educational Workshop at the Grayslake Library. Come meet with us at the Grayslake Library and explore our stations on:

•volunteering

•current Data Center status

•petitions to sign

We’ll also have a kids table to keep them occupied while we chat.

Be sure to tell your Friends & Neighbors. This concerns all of us.

A couple things I want us to make note of:

***Yes*** EVERYTHING is political but OUR focus for this event is:

•Reconnecting with our neighbors

•Acknowledging we share common cause against the harms being done in our communities

•Recognizing and demonstrating that we are stronger together

•Stopping/preventing those harms The Data Center build in Grayslake is the sole focus of this meeting.

That said, It WILL do harm to neighboring communities. We recognize that & invite you to come meet us & learn how to get involved.

****We are meeting on the main floor of Grayslake Library; upon entering you go to the right & then take your first right that leads down the hall to the room.

Now, this data center deal has many of us ready to flip tables. But this event is in the library, so we have to maintain typical library etiquette. I understand the anger & feeling of betrayal in our communities & there is absolutely a time and place for that; the library is NOT the place for that. Save your fighting energy for when we need it, like a boxing or corn wrestling fundraiser. Looking forward to seeing you there.
